Together with other content providers I contributed marketing texts and created case studies about customer projects. To spread the great work achieved by SAP's design strategists, I helped the marketing team to set up a process, create guidelines for storytellers, and train designated authors. Content to promote the services was required for the new website. Many awesome customer projects have been successfully rolled out, but outside the team almost nobody knew about. In 2013 SAP opened the Design and Co-Innovation Center (DCC) in the AppHaus Heidelberg. Project details I helped to set up a process and create guidelines for storytellers. To strengthen my body and mind, I practice Iyengar yoga, study Buddhist psychology, and join Zen Coaching classes. I love decorating my home and sharing traditional crafts cross-cultural. When not sitting in front of my computer, you can find me in the great outdoors with my sea kayak or motorcycle, or getting my hands dirty with organic gardening. New to UX & prototyping? No worries, I train any team in human centered design! To individuals, I offer accompanying career coaching, mentoring, and best practices to integrate agile and user-centered methods in a seamless product development process. If you run a social or non-profit organization, I am happy to support you in between projects. To understand which concepts and designs work best, I validate them with help of user testing. I help start-ups and international players to transform good ideas into better products. My wide experiences in many disciplines, job roles and companies made me a t-shaped person who loves to work in interdisciplinary teams. After this class, not only can I code out the front end and design the UI or website, but I can also do UX design as well.I am a digital expert from southern Germany with focus on user centered design. By the end of the class I came up with a product that I think can compete with the others that are out there. I tested the initial design using A/B and click testing. I then created some interactive prototypes using Invision and Axure to see how functional the app is. I sketched out some wireframes, tested it out with users and then make changes. Ease of use was really important as well. I tested out my hypothesis by interviewing with potential users and figuring out what are their needs, what are they currently using, and what could make a project / task management app work for them. I came up with a hypothesis that the users wanted an easy to use app and has the right features. Once I completed the research I did some analysis to figure out what opportunities are out there to make a better product. I gathered the requirements from what the business stakeholders wanted and then did some research on the competitors and the market. So I went through the entire UX process, from requirements gathering, research, analysis, design, test and then iterate. For the course I had to create a project / task management app. I also wanted to learn more about user research. I’ve done a few UX projects on the side for startups and non-profits to gain experience, but wanted a structured learning experience. I took an online UX Design course at Career Foundry (an online bootcamp school) starting in March of this year. As a Front End Designer/Developer I wanted to learn more about UX so I can see how to apply this to my work. UX Design is a big deal in the tech industry.
